Hello, dear readers! I’m thrilled to be back from a rejuvenating break, and this time, I have an exhilarating summer escapade to share with you – the enchanting Cannes!

My recent journey to Cannes, the crown jewel of the French Riviera, left me utterly enchanted. It’s a city that beckons with its allure, and I couldn’t resist falling under its spell, momentarily abandoning my writing duties.?

A few years ago, I explored the French Riviera but missed out on Cannes, which is just a short 40-minute hop from Nice, my home base. This year, I decided to dedicate my travels exclusively to Cannes, to uncover the secrets that make it a global sensation.

Following a two-week adventure during our family holiday, I concluded that dedicating just two days is enough for those eager to uncover its allure and renowned attractions, along with its distinctive ambiance and vibe.

La Croisette: A Boulevard of Dreams

Let’s start with the crown jewel – La Croisette! This is my absolute favorite place in the city, boasting the prestigious Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, which plays host to the illustrious Film Festival.

The show is performed along a 400-meter seafront and watched by thousands of spectators along La Croisette. Each show lasts around 20 minutes, and we had the pleasure of witnessing the grand finale from France and an incredible performance by Switzerland!?
