Crete, the paradise island, offers stunning views everywhere you look, but it wouldn’t be complete without the enchanting experience that Peninsula Resort & Spa offers its visitors. Trust me when I say it was the best find ever! From the warm welcome by the staff to the awe-inspiring views from our hotel room, everything was simply beyond compare. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to spend a few days of pure summer bliss! Our Greece Vacation experience was priceless!

During our time there, I noticed a multitude of families having a great time at the resort, alongside couples and solo travelers who were thoroughly enjoying their vacations.

Peninsula Resort & Spa is a hotel surrounded by two beaches, offering stunning views from every corner. We opted for a room with a breathtaking sea view, and boy, was it a fantastic choice! Our afternoons spent on the balcony, gazing at the tranquil sea after hours of fun-filled pool activities and seaside adventures, and water sports offered by the hotel, were the perfect rewards of the day. At the resort, you will find not just one, but two magnificent large swimming pools, along with two separate pools specifically designed for children. Additionally, there is a covered pool located at the spa center, which is situated separately from the main building of the resort. The resort features a beautiful long beachside adorned with plenty of water sports and a diving center. And oh, the warm and pristine waters of the sea! It’s ahh-mazing!
Although I didn’t get to swim much at the beach since my husband and son were busy splashing about in the resort’s pools, I did manage to steal a few moments to experience the magic of the crystal-clear water. It was absolute perfection. Having left my home country, Cuba, nearly 27 years ago (can you believe it??), I find myself longing for the sea every single day of my life. It has become an irreplaceable part of me, and every European summer, I yearn for that sensation.
